Everything began in Dublin in 1979 with a pioneering idea for its time: offering the Spanish curriculum within an English speaking environment.
That first school was founded with a clear mission. Students would not only learn in two languages, they would live in two cultures. From the very beginning, Yago School promoted true bilingualism, combining the academic strength of the Spanish curriculum with full immersion in an English speaking country.
It was a brave and deeply innovative commitment.

The economic crisis of the 1990s led to the closure of those first schools. However, the project itself never disappeared.
More than 15,000 students from different countries passed through its classrooms. Each of them carries an unforgettable memory and the distinctive mark of the Y of Yago School, a way of understanding education based on values, high standards and openness to the world.
Schools may close, but a genuine educational dream never fades.
In 2010, one of those former students, Ramón Resa, decided to revive the project in Andalusia, giving life to the new bilingual school Yago School Sevilla.

In 2024, Ramón Resa and his son Javier Resa, together with a team of outstanding professionals, opened the doors of Yago School Málaga, inspired by the founding vision that began in Ireland decades earlier.
