As an International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School, we offer the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), providing our students with a rigorous, coherent educational pathway with a strong international outlook. In addition, we are a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), continuing to move towards the full implementation of the IB continuum from the earliest stages of education.
From Early Years through to Baccalaureate, our students build a strong foundation in disciplines such as science, technology, the arts, humanities, public speaking and emotional intelligence, within an environment that fosters curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. At Yago School Málaga, the Primary Years Programme (PYP) of the International Baccalaureate offers a unique educational experience for students aged 3 to 12, designed to build strong foundations for a future-focused, international education. Our model combines the best of the bilingual national curriculum with the IB methodology, creating an environment where students learn naturally in English and Spanish, while also being introduced to Mandarin Chinese from an early age.
From the earliest years, students develop a solid academic foundation in key areas such as Mathematics, Language and Literature, Science, the Arts, Public Speaking, Emotional Intelligence and Technology, including disciplines like robotics and computational thinking. In Early Years, we guide each child through their first learning experiences in a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment, where curiosity and exploration are at the heart of learning. We promote holistic development – cognitive, emotional and social –, encouraging creativity, confidence and healthy habits within a multilingual setting that ensures a smooth transition into Primary Education.

Our educational model combines the bilingual national curriculum with the innovative IB approach, creating a dynamic learning environment where students deepen their knowledge while developing essential skills for the 21st century.
