International School
In Spain, international schools follow the Spanish curriculum while delivering a high percentage of teaching in English.
Yago School Málaga is truly international: around 85% of the timetable is in English, and English is the official language of communication among staff, teachers and students. In Baccalaureate, students follow the IB Diploma Programme (DP) entirely in English, including a second language (Spanish or French) for a genuinely international academic profile.

British School
A British school follows the National Curriculum for England. Students take UK-recognised qualifications (e.g., IGCSE/GCSE and A-Levels) with their own structure, assessments and standards.

  • University-style learning from Baccalaureate: planning, autonomy, time management and continuous assessment.
  • Research with purpose: questioning, source analysis, evidence-based work and academic writing (e.g., Extended Essay).
  • Practical, meaningful learning: real-world problem solving, interdisciplinary projects and knowledge transfer.
  • Advanced communication in two languages: strong oral and written skills in English and Spanish(presentations, debates, reports).
  • Rigour and balance: a complete, rigorous and balanced system that develops critical thinking, creativity and global competence.
  • Holistic education & service: participation in arts, music, sport and community service that builds values, leadership and teamwork.

We aim for genuine bilingualism within a multilingual pathway. By graduation:

  • English: fluent and precise in academic and social contexts, reaching C1–C2 levels.
  • Mandarin Chinese: effective communicative use in everyday and academic contexts.
  • French: effective communicative use in everyday and academic contexts.
