They can join our Mountain Club and Ski Club, take part in water activities such as rowing, paddle surfing, kitesurfing or boat trips, and make the most of our sports facilities to practise padel, basketball, or football.

But it’s not all about sport: we also encourage cultural and personal discovery. We organise visits to local fairs, excursions to nearby towns and cities, concerts, cinema outings, live sporting events, and cultural trips. In addition, students have the chance to immerse themselves in the rich Mediterranean gastronomy, creating unforgettable memories that go far beyond school life.

During the week, residents follow supervised study and activity sessions between 6 pm and 8 pm, while at weekends we offer youth activities in Málaga designed by our team to promote integration, fun, personal development, and cultural immersion.

We offer different accommodation options in our Málaga boarding home, tailored to the needs of our students: full-time, weekly, and termly stays.

Full Boarding

We offer the option of boarding from Monday to Sunday, designed for our students to enjoy a full and complete experience.

During the week, residents benefit from supervision while doing homework and preparing for exams, as well as the opportunity to take part in the academic, sports, and leisure activities organised by both our International School and the Boarding.
Weekends are designed for enjoyment, with a unique programme of excursions, cultural, sports, and entertainment activities that allow students to learn new skills, create unforgettable memories, and develop their personal interests.

Weekly Boarding

The weekly boarding is the perfect option for those who wish to enjoy life in the boarding during the week and spend weekends at home with their family.

From Monday to Friday, students live in a safe and enriching environment, with academic support and supervision for study and homework.
During the week, they take part in boarding life through sports, cultural, and leisure activities that foster integration, independence, and learning.
Weekends are spent at home, enjoying family time and rest in their own environment.
This is an ideal option for students who live far from the school, as it avoids long daily commutes and allows them to make better use of their time.

Termly Boarding

The termly boarding offers students the opportunity to live a unique international experience, combining academic life with a true cultural exchange.

Students have the opportunity to live at Yago School Málaga for one term, fully integrating into school life and the boarding home.

From what age can students live at Yago School Málaga International Boarding?

Our boarding home welcomes students from the age of 13 (equivalent to MYP 3 / Secondary 2) and they can stay until their final year of Baccalaureate.

Admissions Process for Yago Boarding School in Málaga

1 Inquiry

After receiving your request, we will contact you to organise a meeting—either in person or via videoconference—where we will provide you with detailed information about the educational stages, services, and fees of our school.

2 Application Process

This step allows us to get to know our future students and their families better. An online form must be completed, along with the required documentation according to the corresponding educational stage.

3 Application Review

Once the application has been received and completed, our Admissions Team, together with the academic staff, reviews and evaluates the student’s file and profile, as well as the availability of places. During this process, we also assess any additional services the student may require, such as language support or learning reinforcement.

Families will receive notification of the admission decision within a maximum of 15 days after the review has been completed.

4 Enrollment

Once the student’s place has been confirmed, the formal registration process begins.

After completing the registration:

The Finance Team will issue the corresponding invoices.
Shortly before the start date, you will receive a Welcome Pack with all the information needed for the beginning of the school year and your first days at the school.

The place will only be guaranteed once the following payments have been made, within a maximum of 14 days from the date of invoice:

Enrollment fee: A one-time payment required to confirm the place (non-refundable).
Deposit: A one-time payment, refundable at the end of the stay.
Activity fund: A termly payment covering boarding activities.
